Request for Joomla! Extensions Section

Post by Hils » Sat Jul 15, 2006 7:15 am

There are several categories: new extensions, most popular, most reviewed etc. But would it be possible to add another 'latest updated extentions' or something similar? Once an extension has been posted and is in its category, it is 'silently' updated and not 'flagged up' apart from the upload date by the Developer.

Thank you for considering this from Hils
It's nice to be nice!

Hi Hils,

Thanks for your suggestion.
It would indeed be handy to have a latest updated module/feature. At the moment we do not provide such an option.
In future versions when Extensions Directory is closer tied to joomlaforge this might be one of the 'users wishes' that actually will come true. No promises attached.

We appreciate feedback from the users of the Extensions Directory, and evaluate and consider the feedback made, thanks  :)

it would be good he this was possible but i appreciate that it is hard to do in the current software. perhaps a temp solution would be to have a forum section that we can subscribe to that ext dev post in when they update
