Awesome. Although, frankly, I did not know there were others!
I assume we enter www.Joomla.org for website address?
We will pass this around.

Re: Discussion about : Nominate Your Favorite CMS
Just noticed this and added it to the topic on #joomla
I'd say it's a sure thing Joomla will be nominated, and I'm pretty confident that Joomla will take out the 1st prize
The reason for nomination I entered:
"Well supported, easy to use and develop, with strong core development and a promising roadmap."
Good luck!
Cheers,
Damian

I've put mine in. But I'm not going to wish you good luck because I really don't think you need it.

I've now voted as well.
Just a reminder for those who haven't done so yet, voting continues until 1 September, with the final five announced on 4 September.
May the best Open Source CMS (that is, Joomla!) win!

Re: Discussion about : Nominate Your Favorite CMS
To add to the encouragement already voiced for getting the word out, I wanted to share a few details people might find helpful. Packt Publishers have provided resources on this page: < http://www.packtpub.com/award >.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to the section entitled "Media Resources." There, you will find press releases you can publish on your blogs and banners to use on your websites. (They made a banner for each of the five winners--there are no losers in that group!)
When you put your banner up on your website or blog to encourage others to vote for Joomla!, you can link specifically to the voting page for Joomla! < http://www.packtpub.com/article/final_five_joomla >.
As was true with the nomination process, email addresses and names are used to determine a "unique vote."
Good luck to Joomla!
Amy
