Ignore forums
Is there a way to ignore certain forums? I only use the Dutch one of the international forums. The other international forums just clutter my view when I look at "Show unread posts since last visit" or just scroll own through the forums.

Re: Ignore forums
Yes, this could be quite helpful! For those who like to answer questions in the areas they frequent, it would clear out all the information that didn't apply to what their knowledge is strong in. Good idea sc00zy.

Re: Ignore forums
Thanks... I allready found that option though :-X
I came across a mod for SMF: http://mods.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=137
If installed you can select the boards to ignore in you profile.

Re: Ignore forums
I also guess it would be usefull and also that our friends at SMF would help Brad if he has probs.
The "Humor, Fun and Games" forum has more than 2500 Posts, so why not build a "Humor, Fun and Games Working" Group?

Re: Ignore forums
Ok, I'll make this a priority.. however the mod linked to above does not appear to support the version we are running... but leave it to me.. I will see what the SMF devs come up with.

I echo that ........ but I solved it by subscribing to the RSS feed for the forums i was intrestred in ...... though adding each feed is a pain in the neck.......... and the drawback is you cant post ...... directly from it....... so this should solve the problem......
Re: Ignore forums
Any news on this?
I'm regretting responding to a number of posts as the clutter in my "show new replies" makes finding threads quickly a nightmare.
Serves me right!
But, it would be soooo nice to be able to set some forums to "ignore".

Re: Ignore forums
k, I'm looking for this as well. Let it be known its of no priority in my book, but its something that I'd like to see.
I always check for unread post whenever i come to this site. Most of the unread post are from the international zone, but I don't know any other languages, so it make it difficult to sort through.

Re: Ignore forums
It isn't a huge problem, but when using the search you have to excude a bunch of forums on the tickboxes.

Sometimes the list of new posts is very cluttered with foreign posts. Let's hope it's being further developed.
