Once again, forge.joomla.org is down and no packages are available.  I hope this isn't another 2 day long outage as I need some files from there desperately.

You never know, we might be lucky, they might be actually upgrading the server that it sits on so that navigating the forge pages is no longer an exercise in zen meditation during the page loads.

How can it be that you can't get the main Joomla! project files? Can't someone post them on a mirror? I finally have time to upgrade and the site is down. At least make the package available through the extensions area.

We've mirroring a bunch of Joomla and extension builds at http://jext.info/ to help out with the downtime.  It looks like the JForge is up again now however.
