Forge search doesn't work

Forge Search doesn't work try searching for joomnik or phpgedview or joomlalib no result is given.

It does. You just have to select what you are searching in
eg Documents, Projects etc

I tend to select them all

Did you try it? It doesn't work for me, selected Projects and all no result, try searching for joomnik.

Sorry I only tried it for joomlalib. Couldnt find joomnik via the search either but I did find it in the end looking at the alphabetical list of all projects.

I found it that way too but why is not finding it through search.

Searching for a Project Name is a known issue right now in SFEE.  There's an open bug with it, and we're looking at fixing it in an upcoming release.

As to search in general, I'm planning on performing a full reindex of the forge in the upcoming weekend, in addition to bringing the forge up to a current version of SFEE.

While I cannot speak for my coworkers, I can tell you that I want the Joomla Forge experience to be a good and painless experience for all of its users -- I can say that we're working on bringing many changes to Joomla forge in the upcoming weeks and months, and I urge everyone to let us know if you see any issues or problems.
