SUGGESTION: List only the version changed extensions as "Recently Updated"

Post by LocALiceR » Wed Feb 21, 2007 11:26 am

In the software libraries only those lstings are considered as updates which have changes in version numbers (including the builds). When other details (description, download link, screenshot etc.) are modified by the submitter, the product actually is not displayed among the new/updated lists.

By my mind it would be very important to implement it in JED's software as well. Currently the updates may deceptive for the novice users. They may think an extension has been updated, but there's no change in the code.

What do you think of it?

Hi LocALiceR,

Thanks for your input on this matter.
For now the 'Recently Updated' list are related to update of the listing and not only when version of extension is changed.
We will take your suggestion in consideration. Thanks  :)

Hi, ot2sen!

Thank you for the fast response. I hope that this feature will be implemented as soon as possible.
