Converting a phpBB Forum

Is it possibly to convert a phpBB forum with posts and users ?
And at the same time remove all modded codes in the database ?

I was also thinking, what do you think about converting this whole site:
www.VolunteerForum.se
Into a joomla community ?
Its a Non-Profit Volunteer Forum for both organizations and volunteers.

There is not that much activity on the site,
but i have been running it for aprox 2 years now...

Also, how easy is it to find some help with joomla if there is things that
dosen't work as it should, or mod requests etc ?
Im not the best coder so, as you can see on my site VolunteerForum
(Would be nice to have some colleague that could help, it's not fun to have a website alone =( ...)

That is like me asking "Is it possible to convert US Dollars?"

We need to know what you plan to convert to before we can tell you IF it can be done.

My suggestion is to do a search on the extensions page for phpBB. I did a search and found a few results inlcuding some bridges.
