Permission Denied (yes, again!)

Post by anakaine » Mon May 14, 2007 9:07 am

hi hi

I'm getting the permission denied error when trying to access the Migrator project page

Project Link: http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/migrator/

This is a tad annoying... Joomlacode is the only place I have been able to find the files. And now i cant access. This project will be in greater demand now that 1.5 beta 2 is out, and the links on the tutorials floating around with these are broken (mind you, they arn't linking to joomlacode).

Just out of curiosity, if you run a search for projects and search for "migrator"
, every link on that page is supplying the access denied error.

I'm guessing that this might be a result of not having project admins assigned? (seen in earlier post)

On the other hand, is there another homepage that the author of this account has listed, as I require these files to migrate.
eg, a project homepage that might be listed with their projects info (which I cant see... ;p)

Cheers,
Simon

Hi Simon,

You are spot on, those are migrated projects where the admin still needs to be assigned. I'm afraid you will not be able to download files from such projects as the admin still has to fix some things before it's public again.

Also a note about the migrator itself; it will not work with beta-2 as far as I'm told by the Developers (J! Core). It needs to be worked on between beta-2 and RC.

Ah, thankyou for the reply and that extra bit of info!

Hmmm... back to the drawing board on this one then I guess.
