How do I apply to join a project on Joomla Code?

I'd like to request to join a second project on Joomla Code, but where is the Join this project link?

Is the feature available but as hidden as the "Edit Text" link on the wiki page (took me 2 months to find - tried all role permission settings possible before click the "info" tab)?

Or do I have to contact the developer which will then invite me to join?

Contacting the developer in question is the best thing to do, they can assign you roles in a project.

Thanks for the prompt reply. This is a significant difference from the old forge. Maybe you should put it up in the Forge FAQ? That is at least where I expected to find this answer earlier but no...

Forge also wasn't ideal. It had the 'join' button for each project. There was no way to shut it down. This would be really nice to have as a configurable option, so project admins can show/not show the option.

Yeah, a configurable option it should be.

What about the FAQ entry? Think it'd make sense there?
