I've been looking for an answer for this for a while, but haven't found any. Heres what I'm trying to do.
I want to make a website where a user can fill out a form and add a pic. The info on the form is then used to make a new page on the website (info listed in predetermined arrangement), and the picture is used on the homepage as a "new content" Item. I want this information editable by the moderator too through the in site wysiwyg editor.
Im hoping this isn't too much to ask, I'm an absolute novice with coding, but if someone would be nice enough to give me a link of how to do this, or walk me through, it would be very much appreciated. I think Joomlas the right CMS for the job, any other suggestions?

Can it be done in Joomla ? Sure!
It sounds like something CommunityBuilder can do from scratch, so take a look at that first.
If you decide to make something on your own, start with the tutorials on the joomla site or the tutorials or the book from Joseph Leblanc.
