So far, I've got about 100 of them online - If your logo is not shown, please email a copy of it to me at
[email protected]. No wider than 600px and in .jpg format.
The gallery is located here:
http://www.joomlageek.com/component/opt ... /Itemid,5/In a day or two, we'll have a "hot-or-not" style voting script up with all the logos submitted. Users will be able to vote (on a 1-5 scale) and comment on each of the logos. Should get some things a bit more organized.
Also, we're beta testing a new news submission component - If you have Joomla related news, please feel free to submit it for consideration using the submit menu option.
Excellent!
One quick note - it does not play nice with Safari. Firefox on Mac is fine though.

I don't have a Mac, so I can't test it ... What exactly isn't working?
Thanks

OK
I can't take any more. They are all just so ****ing great!
I slapped up the first thing that came to mind 72 pages of posts and 20,000 views ago. It was an arrow pointing to the future. Seemed apropos even if it was obvious. Soon people with talent started posting ideas and images, and I started to get a little embarrassed. Hell I had no idea that joomla had more world-wide influence than Coke™ and would soon have an army of spectacularly talented people visually evoking history, culture, and vision.
Enough is enough. I’ve decided that when the poll appears I’m not going to vote. A few hundred posts ago there were frontrunners, but now it’s ridiculous. I don’t even think I could narrow it down to a top 20 let alone choose just one. The graphic identity of joomla must already be out there; everybody just stop.
If you need another outlet for your artistic energy play around with this logo for a Costa Rica travel website for company called Toucan Guides.

Well, that's technology for ya... I just went back there in Safari to do a little movie of it for you, and now it's working fine! Go figure! ::)
Nice work, by the way!

Where this tower of Babel goes to finish? Please we are in a competition without logic!
It has people that she dispatches by post any drawing without a certain definition! This already turned a confusion!

Thank you for your comments about my logos
Andy says:
I'm sorry, but these logos are too Ubuntu-like. No matter now nice they look (and they are very very nice), we cannot afford to have a logo that so closely resembles another. Also, consider scaling. Product logos need to be exceptionally simple to scale well (or at least need to have a scalable abbreviated version). The fine details you have on the continents will be lost if you go any smaller.
As I was saying I am an Ubuntu user and fan, so .....
I think it's a great honour to compare or to be compared to Ubuntu. And all the products you will find here must have similar shape to an other product in the world.
If you look my logos you will find one without earth wich can be more scallable.
I will try other logos but I am not a designer at all, but maybe
regards,
Lannick

To all of those that sent in your logos - thanks! We've got quite a few in the gallery.
http://www.joomlageek.com/component/opt ... /Itemid,5/Check the gallery, and if you're logo is not in there, please send a copy to
[email protected].
PLEASE make sure they are no larger than 600x600 and in JPG format.
Farimi did a great job of collecting tons of logos to display, unfortunately neither of us have the time to sort / convert all of them. I'll do as many as I can, but it's quite time consuming, so everyones help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Cheers!

Wow, but this thread is full of ...artists! I like very very much your logo and even your slogan (that is Joomla stranslated) that It can be easily translated in every sort of language. Please insert other variations based on the same theme!
PS. what software do you use for creating that?

Hi newart,
Thanks for request. :)
I think that a positive slogan(key words) is necessary for a design. It's to decide it before designing works it.
New slogan thread -> after finish -> New Logo thread
I usually use "Illustrator" and "Fireworks". I used "SketchBook Pro" of "Alias Inc." for rough sketch.
