To create a tagline, you really need to have a better understanding of the true origin of the term "Joomla!":

I think this thread is way past the point where "the team" needs to single a few out and/or give some (more) guidance as to what they want to see in the slogan, the old "power in simplicity" slogan actually borders on false advertising anyway, what with categories vs. sections vs. static content, and modules vs. components vs. mambots

Hmmm - still thinking about this...

Most submissions start with Joomla! and then add a catch-phrase. Why not the other way around? Leaves the reader with the name as the last object read.

PS. I like the word 'ingenious' - it describes Joomla! perfectly, but it may not go down well in non-English-speaking countries. Comments?

I can't help but feel that this is probably another exercise in futility.  The core team kept us all amused for a long time after asking us to put forward name suggestions (19th August) and then registering their chosen name (not one put forward by members of the community) two days later - while many of us were spending countless hours searching trademark registries. 
Is this just another exercise in keeping the kiddies busy?

Why? Collective Intelligence can mean two things - the collective, intelligent way the community biulds the project AND the CMS is a method of collectiing the knowledge/intelligence of an organisation and managing it in one place.

Could even add "System" to it, which would create a nifty acronymn reminiscent of some popular US TV shows (JCIS) LOL

I think as well as you... The slogan needs to focus people, organization, knowledge and of course the comunity. So, my suggestions are:

Joomla! Growing with you

or

Joomla! Growing much more with you

Well, in all fairness, I think the name did come from the community but it might not have been posted to the forum.
