I'm Dutch also and you can loosly translate it to "opleuken/opsieren". As you maybe have seen in the dutch TV-guides, there's a dutch "Pimp my car" TV-program as well. Maybe a bit of "Turbo-language" but more and more generaly used in dutch language for spicing up things. (oops! did i just intruduced a new discussable word? :-[ )

I think the real argument is not to use a slangish english/american, apart from the problem of the exact meaning of that word (on my own I didn't understand the meaning as I'm not an english mother tongue). If we are an international community with different languages, cultures, religions, ages  (and we are not only males, there are also females) and so on I think the right behaviour is to avoid any problem or misunderstanding.

If a user sees a problem, maybe there is a problem...  :-\ The style has to be a little professional (but please not a boring one) as joomla is.

You keep your church sites right where they are... Joomla! is the right choice!

I've got a couple of different churches "hooked" on Joomla!
