RobInk wrote:Hi Andy,
I like the new forum template. Easier to read, for me personally. Also like the graphics and buttons. One small detail though, what about images such as locked, sticky (show at the bottom, viewing a forum)? And the smilies? They feel a bit out of place now, with the new button images. Will they be replaced as well?

Re: New Theme is live!
I absoulty agree......... I think another thread was foalting around asking to change the Icons for the sticky......

It's a custom designed theme... Andy (rhuk), one of the Core Devs designed it.

[ Ctrl ] [ + ] increases the font size
[ Ctrl ] [ - ] descreases the font size

Andy, again my complements very nice design.
Got one thing though: the quote and code font is a bit small. the others are perfectly readable on my screen (1400x1024)

This skin was expressely developed for the Joomla site by one of the core team member. It is not available for general use.
Glad you like it though

Re: Moving to our new home
I like the new layout of this forum very much, except for the buttons (home, help search, reply, quote etc).
I am afraid that those buttons (white text on light grey to very light grey background) are very hard to read on TFT screens
Black text or a darker background buttons would increase the readability.

yes you did, I posted in this thread too, because the subject was more suitable. I read your other post, thanks for the suggestion...bluesaze wrote:Darn it ...... I just put a post and cliked post it didnt post ......... anyway i agree the font would stand out a bit more if they were black
It has to do with the view angle at a TFT screen. When I move my head 30 centimetres down, the readability of the buttons improves somewhat...

Ha ha ......... I kinda got confused .... I thought maybe some error had occured
Re: New Theme is live!
This looks very nice. Didn't kill the site's speed either. I think it's super. Good work.
Re: New Theme is live!
I did notice something. "Powered by Joomla! - Copyright © 2005 - All Rights Reserved" is in light grey and hardly readable. Maybe the font color could be darkened so it's more noticeable.

Also echo this, with TFT it is nearly impossible to see the copyright note.
