*amboforge is down. I hope this plug in will be available for Joomla!

mamboforge is back online, and yes this will also work for Joomla templates ( 1.0.4)

I am new to web development. My main profession is legal. I created a website for my firm, originally with simple html page and then with phpnuke and now just moved from phpnuke to Joomla. I am enjoying playing around using great Joomla Tool. I found Htmlkit recommended by you as extremely useful. Thanks a lot. Though I do not know much about plug in you refer to, I will explore that as well. What ever I have learned is because of community on internet (no web design classes). I owe to community a lot. Thanks again.

Hi Joomlaites  :)
Can any one tell me (asking for shortcut :o) how do I incorporate in html/php file, which is independent and not part of Joomla content, template of joomla?
I have form ready in html file. Content of the form is posted to formmail.php file, which process input and send details to me and with auto respond to the email address given in the form. As this form is not part of Joomla content, obviously it does not contain template. From Joomla website, I have given link to this form and it gives odd look to the form as it does not contain the same template as my joomla website.
I plan to implement FacileForms from Joomla Extensions, however I found that I will require to construct form from scratch. That means quite some time. Since I was using earlier phpnuke and my form is ready in html file (to which I had applied phpnuke look/template), I think better shortcut would be (atleast for the time being) to apply template of joomla. But how ? ???
I seek guidance, please.

If I understand you, just create a static ocntent item with the form in it. We have successfully used formmail in this manner

Thanks a lot.
What wonderful community this is.
I will work on, what you suggested. Thanks :)
The website compassdesigns.net is excellent. I was impressed with the speed with which it got loaded on my PC (though lots of stuff on it). I was to seek guidance on this and then thought compassdesigns.net might be on expensive fast server. Then I moved to tutorials and wondered why I had not visited here earlier? or why i didn't hear on the forum about it? I learned from tutorial (which i am still reading and learning) that when tables are omitted and instead CSS is used site can not only load faster, but is also search engine friendly and ofcourse tag of Modern website ;)

Barrie...

Really great stuff...time to retire my random collection of Joomla! 1.5 template factoids and leave it all in the quite capable hands of the pros at Compass Design.  And Johan really deserves much more credit than I.  I did the easy stuff.  ;D

Again, congrats on a job well done.

It there a version of the dreamweaver extension in the 1st post that works with the latest version of adobe extension manager and dreamweaver cs3?

If not can anyone point me to something that will allow me to use dreamweaver to make my templates?  I am very proficient with dreamweaver but I am not very good at hand coding everything.

I went to try this solution but this plugin link leads to a dead page.  Seems that the development plugins are either outdated or missing.
