I've noticed similar suggestions from windowsguy and starise, but how about this one:

Wow, I made several slogans for joomla, but your slogan is better than mine; it's a very good one! Inside there is the community (mind) and the free open-source (open), moreover open minds is quite similar to "intelligent choise" like a subliminal message, and so on...

Even for a short slogan we can say:

Joomla! for open minds

or as a bit a joke and a bit serious:

Joomla! open minds only    (in this case open states as a verb or an adjective - sorry for my elementary grammar)

The Open Mind idea is  very appealing.
Since Joomla is going to be dedicated to open source:

Joomla! Open Source, Open Mind, Open Horizon

Joomla!  Source Satisfaction

Nice one, dStorm.. just wonder how many more before something happens.. maybe the new logo will make it easier to settle on something, should be announced soon..

I like the "Open Source, Open Mind" part, not sure about the "Open Horizon" part.

I could be be way off, but I think that the logo and the slogan should sort of go hand-in-hand.  For instance, if the JBird logo  wins, maybe use something about the sky, like "Joomla! The Skies the limit" or something.  I'm not a slogan-ist, so i dunno, just thought i'd throw that out there.

I think that Open Minds is more flexible than we can imagine... even for a JBird logo as the word open is... for taking off towards the sky    like a JBird... but with a mind behind...

Think from marketing & PR-point of view what you can achieve with the logo combined with the YES!........we all use it in our daily life

* You do something good.... what do you mumble........YES
* You get it done .........what do you shout?......YES
* You club is the winnner........ what's the joy? YES
* What's the best CMS?    JOOMLA! YES!Powerful,Precise,Explicit

note: Whatever the choice....stay as powerful as we have started this Baby, with good advise and explicit good marketing & PR.. Don't please imitiate anything Nike-like so do not use the "it!" and also do not use "simplicity" Mambo is NOT about simplicity...it is about power in management of complex content........(besides that it is not  simple any more...

Just in case you’re not a genius it means 'Joomla equals Content Management Squared' which is good

The logo, it seems so to me, explains by itself... 

I wonder now if a slogan is really necessary...

I threw this out on the first page of this thread and I think it is even more appropriate now that we have chosen this logo.
