I have tested your Virtus 1.5 template and have been playing with its CSS (mostly adding the missing ones). Not ready yet.

Thanks a lot! I'd like very much to hear from you that!

As per your suggestion I understand that all of us have to wait for discovering the real potential of the 1.5 template... but first of this discovering issue my idea is to ask for a new special free template directly who is involved in commercial template in J!. It's an idea, a bit strange but I hope interesting as They gain from Joomla! in template business but why not offering TO Joomla a free special template ?!?! I think that the 1.5 celebration with a good stuff of templates should be impressive!

will there be an upgrade path to 1.5x from current stable 1.0.11?

Hi sailor,

It won't be an upgrade, but more of a migration. See http://dev.joomla.org/component/option, ... ,33/p,107/

Has anyone tried this migration with a Mambo db?

Hamster...

I don't know if the migrator component might work with Mambo (which stable version...)
As it is quite easy to upgrade from Mambo 4.5.2 to Joomla! 1.0.x, I would rather suggest to do this, and then do the migration to 1.5

Interesting combination to use the migrator component for Mambo. Maybe I will take a shot in the coming days/week.

On my own I think it's important to consider a certain amount of "conversions" from mambo ;) expecially from the old 4.5.x series - there are a lot of this type of sites around yet.

It has been some months now since the 1.5 beta came out. Any ideas by what time we can expect a stable release. I have a project up my sleeves and if the stable release of 1.5 is coming soon, i would like to wait rather than first use the existing version and then migrate to 1.5 in a few weeks!

Sorry for my second post, but having in mind your question I've used a little strange method for finding out the date. So If you like to know the 1.5 release stable date I made a funny post but perhaps the date is not as unreal as it seems, you have to think about Beta.x, RC.x and so on: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic ... 0.html#new

PS. this is only my own personal idea of a date, it's just a bet, only a bet. All right? bye
