Thanks Rey for the confirmation (and thanks to Phil and Joe for noticing the change)
I couldn't recreate it because I wasn't using any content triggered bots...
Only AKOComment which has settings on which content to trigger on built in...

This means the upgrade wasn't succesful. One or more files haven't been overwritten correctly. Versioning information is available in /includes/version.php.

I should try again and if that doesn't work overwrite the installation with the full 1.0.10 package and delete the installation folder afterwards.

I upgraded from 1.0.8 to 1.0.10 and now my content WYSIWYG editors wont allow me to type or edit into any of them? I had JCE but even after converting to the default it would not allow me to edit the content box while in admin panel.
Any help?

Hi skootle
I am using JCE as well and kind of had the same issue
Check if you see full site path in webbrowsers address/URL field e.g.
http://www.yoursitename.com/administrator/ and not yoursitename.com/administrator/
if it does read back earlier in this thread regarding JCE (meanwhile add www. to the URL manually)

Thanks a lot!! I tried your trick but I was logged in the opposite. I was under the www. but when I removed the www. then I could update the content field.
Your a lifesaver!!

Hi. Just tried updating 1.08 to 1.10. Uploaded zip package via Jexplorer and unpackaged. I got this message.
ERROR(S): Extraction failed (Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature)
Any suggestions what I might have done wrong? Thanks.

Hi,
I unzipped locally, then uploaded the files via FTP to the root directory of my joomla and that worked for me. I also upgraded 1.08 to 1.10.

"You are not authorized to view this resource"
I get the error above after updating from 1.0.8 to 1.0.10
I have virtuemart installed. I had to downgrade back to 1.08 for now. waiting for virtuemart time to release a fix..
Going over there now to take a look at.

Seems there is somewhat of a fix. I will wait a few hours/days to see if there is a full fix for virtuemart.
All my other sites that have standard extensions seems to be working just fine.

I am running 1.04 on the cart. I had the same issue on a upgrade on another site running virtuemart. I am going to try again tomorrow. To late for me to get into this right now
I looked at some setting and found there were a few files that didnt have write permission and got that site going.

its that owner thing.. try with cpanel file manager, it will work. use joomlaexplorer with components that were installed via j! admin, cpanel to files uploaded to ftp.

I have upgraded a number of my sites from 1.0.8 / 1.0.0 to 1.0.10. Everything seemed fine ...
On each and every site howeve,r the Contact component now no longer works. Any message entered into the Contact form does not get sent. Has anyone experienced this issue when upgrading - of course it may not be the upgrade to 1.0.10, it might have been since an earlier upgrade and I just missed it.
For me, now that this has come to light, it is a significant issue. Any ideas / help would be appreciated.

It is simple a change in the wording of the instructions to be read for users - no change was made to the actual .htaccess 'code'

Updated 19 sites on 4 servers and all works fine. It did cost some time, but now all my Joomla sites have the same version.
Thanks for keeping Joomla! secure.
