Joomla!Day Helsinki, Finland
7.11.2006

The Finnish Joomla! community is organizing the first Joomla!Day in Helsinki, Finland on Tuesday, November 7th.
This event is a Joomla!Day like the ones in Holland and the UK. Originally we expected to have around 40 participants but in two days after the announcement those seats were taken and we had to change the venue. At the moment there are 87 Joomla! users registered to the event.

Joomla!Day Helsinki will bring together Finnish Joomla! users for the first time. The purpose is to give overview of Joomla! 1.5 and its new features, learn from case studies, provide best practices and naturally meet other Joomla! users. Sessions cover also topics like advanced templating and how to write secure Joomla! components.

Joomla!Day Helsinki is proud to have one of the Joomla! core members, Alex Kempkens, as the keynote speaker.

More info can be found from the Joomla! 1.5 beta powered official site: http://www.joomladay.fi

English summary of the program can be found here:

Hi Alex,

Yes, we are planning to organize Joomla!Day Helsinki 2007 next autumn, maybe in late September or early October. The program details are still open, however.

Best,

- Markku
