I work for a non-profit organization and we have decided that we will be using Joomla to host a special site we will be creating. We would like to create a custom template for this site. My designers will create an initial mock of what we want the site to look at but we need help converting this mock into a Joomla template. Can anyone point me to a source where I can hire expertise in creating custom Joomla templates?
Thanks for the help.

I am going to move this to the Non-Profit forum. Hopefully someone can give you some assistance there. Good luck with your site.

Hi,
I would give you the following hints:
1. Take a look at the wide range of existing templates. Maybe you find some to adapt to your needs.
2. Look-up for the dreamweaver extension for Joomla/mambo and/or take advantage of existing extensions for NVU (opensource wysiwyg-editor).
3. Read existing documentations for template design, you will find all in the extensiondirectory right here.
A german site with tonns of free templates can be reached her:

christian
