Given the global nature of this project it would be nice to see where the other Mambers are from short of clicking on their profile. An option in the settings page to select your country from a drop down menu would be nice. Once chosen, a flag that matches the selected country could show up in each post next to the avatar or post count. We're all one big family, it is nice to know where your neighbors are!

it a goos idea, but the more time the team spends working on upgrading the forum (if the extension for SMF exists) the less time they can devote to Mambo. Brad seems to  be away for a while he might be able to get to it when he gets back.

Well, it doesn't have to be done tomorrow. If it can't easily be added then it will have to wait till later down the road. CMS first, forum second. Still, the any option we can use to promote community building should be exercised whenever possible. Hopefully this isn't that hard to plug in to the SMF system.

I'll keep this suggestion in mind.
