The "lates news formthe forge" module on news.j.org is shows news items from http://dev.joomla.org/content/blogcategory/17/72/

But the latest news is from 17th November

Is there a script broken?

I think human error or more likely time constraints are the cause of this ;) We had quite a few weeks of forge issues, and this is something that may have been held up.

BTW Tonie is away so we're doing our best to take care of the things that he used to 8)

Actually, once MegaJustice "approved" it last night, < http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,136073 >, then your news was immediately visible in the "Latest News" Module. Prior to that time, your news was listed on the news page, but not in the module at the top of the page. So, I'm as confused as you are, Brian.

If you are looking for help, I am happy to help (provided it is easy enough for a trained monkey to do). I am not as smart as you are Marko or Tonie or Brad. But if there are just a set of steps to follow, I would be more than happy to do this a couple of times each day if it helps you. Your time is FAR BETTER invested in coding.

Thanks for all you do!
Amy  :)

Marko -

I think you are right, I am confused.

I attached a picture of the news page I was talking about < http://www.joomla.org/content/blogcategory/0/33/ >.

After you did your update, Brian's News Item was listed by the #1 in the picture, but, it was not listed in the module by the #2.

Then, once MegaJustice said he approved the news item, Brian's Item was listed by the #2 in the picture.

Are those two different sources of news?

Thanks!
Amy

Yes

#1 is what you submit on the news site
#2 is what we track via SOAP from the forge

The news are from the forge are after i did a refresh available here http://dev.joomla.org/content/blogcategory/17/72/ without delay, the module on the news site is cached and will refresh after an hour normally.
