SMF Bridge not upgradeable to Joomla! 1.5

As I understand it there are currently two bridges available to connect Joomla! and SMF Discussion Forum software. Unfortunately the 'Official' one is not being upgraded for Joomla! 1.5

This is evidently a HOT topic. Although first raised in August there's a lot of discussion going on today
