Hello,
My name is Nabeel and I am part of the
team that is involved in localizing different software in Urdu language. I have already translated Joomla 1.0.x language files into Urdu and there is even an Urdu Joomla package available for download
here. A member of our team has also translated the langauge files of Joomla 1.5 beta into Urdu. Now I wanted to create new projects in Joomla forge both for Urdu Joomla 1.0.x as well as for Urdu Joomla 1.5. Accordingly, I sent the request a few days but I have not heard back from anybody.
Can somebody guide me on this?
Regards,

We will have a look at the new request and approve them. Tonie our Forge coordinator is on holiday and as such the forge project approval could be delayed a bit.

ok,
Can you tell me where I can direct my questions concerning rejection of projects. I received an email that the project was rejected, but no reason was given.
Thanks,
Ronald

You can put that on the forums. I'll have a look at it.

My fault, forgot to add a reply. It needed to be :
Could you please elaborate your project request please? At the moment it is not clear what the project is going to be about. This is something we like to know before starting up a new project. Please create a new request and state what the project is going to do.

Ok,
That means the description I gave was insufficient I guess. I tried again. Request has been made again.
Thanks for the quick answer.
EDIT: As I pressed Send, a screen was presented, stating that the Forge is down for maintenance. I am not sure if the request came through. Can you verify if it actually did?
Text was:
Project Name: RSgolftour
Description:
The idea is to create a full featured golfcomponent that can be used by golfers and especially golfclubs to offer golf related services to their members and visitors, and also be able to function as the core of a golfsite.
- Overview of all golf courses, including details like greenfee, rental options, membership options;
- Golf course details like scorecards, images, tips to play, comments on golfcourses;
- Handicap registration and calculation;
- Ability to organize and manage small golf tournaments/leagues.
Cheers,
Ronald
