Joomla! @ 2007 O'Reilly Open Source Convention

Hi all,

We have a first confirmation that Joomla! will be on the 2007 O'Reilly Open Source Convention - July 23-27 in Portland Oregon (USA).

At he moment we are suggesting speaches (http://conferences.oreillynet.com/os2007/) and got in contact with the O'Reilly team about the exhibition space. I got a confirmation that there will be an Open Source Village for Non-Profit projects like us - the details have to be defined still.

We are trying to get as many core team members as possible to this event. And of course we would be more than happy meeting with you in Portland. So if you have a good idea for a Joomla! related speach, go on and suggest it to O'Reilly! And if you like to join us in Portland on the booth, let us know here in the thread - everbody is welcome.

Hi all,

just a note with new information.

We are on booth 909 (opposite of the entrance) with a pretty big booth. It is the intension that Johan and some others will be on the event.

We also booked a place for the OSCamp. If you still have an idea for a birds of feather session go ahead and please post here if you come.
