Anyone here interested in forming an Atlanta users group for Joomla?

I am in Birmingham, AL. Perhaps forming the South East Joomla! users group (or better name), with the first meeting in Atlanta

I am in Atlanta and just started using Joomla although I have used other frameworks for website development. I would be interested in meeting and talking with more people about Joomla.

I'm in New Orleans and have family in Atlanta  .... love Atlanta actually ... I know that Casey of JoomlaShack fame is in southern Alabama as well and frequents Atlanta

I would love to see people getting together in Atlanta ... it would be one more reason to visit more often!

We aim to have our first meeting(s) in Atlanta but also to reach out to current and potential Joomla users around the South East of the United States.

Still can't seem to log in. Tried to post and it told me only registered users could post. I say we eat too at the first meeting. Ever been to Eclupse De Luna? Or maybe it's Luna D'Eclipse? Off of Miami Circle.

Hi All

Its been suggested that we meet on Wednesday May 16th, between 7 pm to 9 pm. The place is Eclipse di Luna, really close to where 95, 85 and 20 all meet in central Atlanta. (Their website is http://www.eclipsediluna.com/)

Hopefully the first meeting will be introductory and organizational. We can think about a long-term meeting place (ideally with conference facilities) and what we want to learn from/give to the group.

We are tentatively planning the next meeting for Saturday June 23rd in downtown Atlanta, from around midday to 3/4 pm.

How does this sound to people here?
