Just wondering if/when there will be newsfeeds available to subscribe to on JoomlaForge? (e.g. the 25 latest project news items).

As an aside, is there any way to make the SourceForge User Guide (PDF) available via a direct URL, rather than a pop-up? I can't access the PDF from my browser. Using a download tool to fetch the file "http://developer.joomla.org/sf-help/en/doc/User_Guide.pdf" will only download "forbidden.html".

Ditto for the second question on making the pdf userguide available as a direct link to the pdf file.

This sounds like a good idea.  Even RSS feeds for individual projects would be nice!

Please don't bump threads, especially your own - per the forum Rules.

Agreed - this is a much needed feature. Monitoring is great but is just another hoop for users to jump through. Let's try and keep the learning curve as short as possible and offer as many ways to monitor a J!Forge project as possible.

Consider that we're into December now and I've yet to see a definitive answer to either of the two questions.

Rather than bumping due to a lack of response from anyone in the JoomlaForge team, I'd appreciate even a quick statement that "it can't be done", or "isn't in the pipeline" or "we're thinking about it".

This isn't on the roadmap yet but I'll add it to my list of things that have been requested.  I can't make any guarantees but it has been acknowledged and would be a good thing.

This should get you what you need: wget http://developer.joomla.org/sf-help/en/ ... _Guide.pdf -dv --user-agent="Mozilla"

another bump. i just needs rss cause i keep missing latest releases and then the output is limited to only like 5 entries a page.

Would love to see RSS for the latest Joomla Forge News.  We try to track the projects that are new and updated over at joomlachristian.com.
