It's not generally possible to say, with a lot of extensions. The best you can do is often to say that, if the end user only inputs valid code, and the rest of the extensions in use output valid code, then the extension in consideration will be valid to some extent. There are also various issues with compatibility: some components and modules have issues when used together, or with certain templates, or with certain settings.

Basically, there are too many variables to be able to say with any certainty whether any particular part will be valid: it is down to the end user to look at everything they use, and make sure that things are outputting clean code, the templates are clean, and the data being entered is clean.

To encourage developers to write XHMTL and CSS valid extensions I'm suggesting to put other two MTree custom Field in the Extensions Directory.

It would be great.

It would be awesome if someone could spread the word to the one responsible for the Joomla! Extension Directory.

Best Regards,

Don't worry, the Extensions Directory team reads all messages in this forum ;). There are more than 1400 extensions on the Extensions Directory. It's a place to centrally find a lot of extensions. What would you propose?
