My my.

New code forge looks great and is easier to manage than the old Souce Forge.

Funny thing is my project was excepted and I logged in and played around .... but the only way I can find my component is to search for it! It is not listed under the projects tab, or any subheadings on this page: http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/ Will it ever show?

How does the extensions site work? My project is not on there either and when I went to register it just gave me the info for registering at joomlacode.org. :O

Then there is this site ... i needed another login to get into here. BAHH! And all those sites I talk of are all accessible from the same menu - the one at the top of this site.

Can someone please clarify what is going on?

Have you checked if your project is visible to the outside world? Go to Admin --> click on 'Edit observer permissions'. In here you can see the visibility of your project.

Thanks Tonie. I already did that. It is visible to all.

Went back to look again and there it was - maybe i got some trouble with my cache ... or my eye site. :D

What about extensions.joomla. What happens there? I can't log in with any of my current joomla site profiles. Do I need another account to use that site? That will be three profiles ... for one site.  :P

Eitherway, all the sites are looking good. Congratulations everyone. :pop <- that should be a beer!

The setup with the sites is like this, is that we have multiple Joomla! sites, which are not linked to each other. This means that we needs accounts for most sites. Is this perfect? Far from it. For the moment, it will stay like this, since we do not want hacked Joomla! versions running our main websites. This would make it a pain to update/upgrade. Will this be addressed in future? I certainly hope so. You can think of something like OpenID or LDAP to gain access. For this, we will definitely need to run Joomla! 1.5 on all sites before this is going to happen.

Thanks Tonie. Glad to hear that the 'multisites' mod is still on people's minds.
