It would be supernice to get a notification of some sort when your favourite extensions were updated. Can you imagine? 
It would be timesaving, and in some cases it would even increase security for our sites.

...And it would be (yet) another way to measure popularity

and also when they are suspended!
It may not be an email alert but a icon near the name.
Also the favorites extensions page should have a row list.. not the normal list (that way we can see more extensions at same page)
