I was just trying to find out if there is anywhere on the forum where you can find joomla user groups that are in the area in which i Live.

The "Joomla!days and Community Meetings" forum area < http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/board,342.0.html > is the place to begin doing that. I do not remember seeing a thread started for Richmond, Virginia. You should feel free to post to see if others might be interested in starting a Joomla! Users Group in your area -- which can be something as simple as meeting the first Saturday of each month for coffee and talk about J!.
