Is this part of the migration process?
Do I just ignore it?

I have already sent my username as requested in an earlier email from "Antonie de Wilde" Forge to Joomlacode migration.
and received another titled "forge migration part 1".

My project is Export Content Component.

That mail is not part of the process, so I can only guess why it has been sent.

So will I just wait for a confirmation email ?

Yes, I will start writing a dev post about now, will also be send to 3rd party devs which asked to be migrated.
