Search Field on every page

The title of the thread says all. It would be nice to have a search field on every page within the forge. This search box would search the various projects without having to click on the dropdown menu. I'm not advocating removing the advanced search, but perhaps having it as an option. My guess is that the majority of searches are performed for projects. Why not just make it the quick and easy thing to default to? Thanks for listening to suggestions as always. You're doing a great job!

Yes, that would save me a lot of time and times when I assume I am searching for Projects and then have to reload the page after it telling me I didn't select anything. Especially for those of us with slow connections, having the search on every page like the forums here is very nice.

Agreed on having a search field on every page. That's one of the best features of sourceforge.net. Most people are finding my project by browsing through all projects instead of searching for "stats" or something.
