Please help!

I register, get the confirmation email, click on it, try to login and it tells me it cant find my user??  Same username I am using here....any ideas anyone?

Seems like the account is still pending. Check the validation link you need to click, if there is an & in it, replate with & and try again. Also make sure you login with michael404, so no capital letters.

Experiencing same problem.

1. Created account with same username I'm using here.
2. Received confirmation e-mail
3. Click on confirmation link, verified no & or other URL encoding issues.
4. Page presents login form with text: "To finish the registration process, login now. Your account will become activated."
5. Error: Could not get user

• Attempting to Login results in "Invalid username and/or password"
• Reset password request results in "User doesn't exist"

Can you try logging in with username unhindered, so no capital "U" at the start? See if that works...

I am not even getting confirmation emails.  I have tried to have the site resend the confirmation email to me many times but never get anything.  The username is directtech.  Please help.

Did you also check spam/junk folders? If it's not there, would you like me to activate the account for you?

Could someone please activate my JoomlaCode account also?

I have tried resending the email with no luck also and my spam box is clean.

I tried to create an account twice with two different names in joomlacode.org.
It did never work . Then i asked at the moderator of the forum to delete the two accounts.
he has been done it but unfortunately when i do a search, i still find the two accounts.
I created another account later.
However i wish to use an email  that is present in one of the the preceding accounts.
I think the best solution is to delete totally the two accounts in such way it would
be impossible to find those two accounts again. In that case i will be able to use the
email of one of the accounts deleted.
On the other hand i have another question.
How to download towards the server in Joomlacode the file .zip containing the scripts of the project.
The two accounts to be deleted: promedia92 and magnan39
The valid account : suresnes92

The system does not allow permanent deletion, without manually removing them from the database. I have now changed the email addresses of the two accounts to something totally different. This would mean that the email address you want to use is free again. Can you try that?

I tried to modify my email address on my account and I received a confirmation email. However, When I click on the confirmation
link, the following message appears: invalid data. It is then impossible to update my account.

I recorded a project in Joomlacode.org. I wish to charge there a file (zip) which contains a component to be installed in Joomla. Thank you to indicate to me how to proceed.
This component could then be downloaded by other users.

As admin, go to the Files option (admin) and simply add a "release". Once thats done, add a file to the release. Make sure to set some checkboxes such as public and released.

I created a new account / clicked the email link then couldnt log in!!!
I was getting a user not found error message.

After looking till my eyes went blurry it seems that it stripped my Capital Letters from my chosen username.

I can now log in .

Letting anyone else know that has a similar issues.
