Review section

This may not be the right place for this topics - please guide me if wrong!
I'm thinking of a subsection of this forum or somewhere else there people can put reviews of 3PD components. I'm thinking of overviews of similar components. As an example one thread can deal with different forums, one photogallery etc.
An overview of whats available and pro and cons are always useful before choosing an component.
I'm aware of the review at JED under each component, but then you have to go through every component within the field you are looking for. I'm thinking of putting them together, preferable in an consistent way, preferable of the same person.
