News missing, different Home links

News on the JoomlaCode site is out of date.
What news is displayed is dependent on the link used.

Breadcrumb link:  http://joomlacode.org/
This link shows news through 2007-04-30

Menu bar link:  http://joomlacode.org/gf/
This link shows news through 2007-05-08.

Since today is 2007-05-16 it appears that 1 to 2 weeks of news is not being displayed.

The issue Ken mentioned is different from approving news, frontpage is different from /gf.

Breadcrumb link:  http://joomlacode.org/
This link still shows news through 2007-04-30

Top right site tab link:  http://www.joomlacode.org/
redirects to:  http://joomlacode.org/
This link still shows news through 2007-04-30

Menu bar link:  http://joomlacode.org/gf/
This link shows news through 2007-05-18  (current news!)
Yeaaa . . . progress.
:D

p.s. no fair changing thread icon to solved until all links work.  ;-)

Edit: hmm . . . just noticed OpenSEF news dated 5-16-2007 still does not appear on front page. Front page news is 5-07 to 5-18, but OpenSEF 5-16 news still does not appear.
? ?

On GForge, frontpage news has to be approved. It looks like it shows 6 entries, and not more. Due to some misunderstanding and us starting to get to know GForge, we hadn't put the editorial team together for this. I have now approved most of the top list. Good news are that news should be approved from now, bad news is that OpenSEF is already off the list as was about number ten of items to be approved.

Mmm, good one. We need to remove this, as we don't have a module yet for Gforge.

I am sure this is great for maximizing RokWebify downloads, but a large number of JoomlaCode users are going to click on the breadcrumbs link which goes to a page which is 27 days out of date.

Virtually all other JoomlaCode project developers would appreciate if the breadcrumbs link goes to up-to-date news which could lead to their projects instead of highlighting RokWebify in the first news position for the last month.

People use the breadcrumbs link - that is why it is there.
How about making it go to the forge home page?

Yes there is definitely a configutation error with gforge.

At http://joomlacode.org/ (not logged in) the latest news ite is from 2007-04-30 and the number of Joomla downloads is 325,226

But at http://joomlacode.org/gf (not logged in) the latest news ite is from 2007-05-27 and the number of Joomla downloads is 558,462

and if you are logged in the resuls are the same as the latter

Is the first page http://joomlacode.org/ a cached snapshot perhaps?
