Strange Notification messages received

Hi,

For Attention of Moderators : I have received two strange notification messages for posts that I am watching on the boards, on clicking on the links in the e mail I get taken to the original watched thread but the message does not exist as described in the email. I have enclosed the messages as follows;

1. 
A reply has been posted to a topic you are watching by davlatboy.

Ps I had the same problem about two weeks ago but thought that it was a glitch but it now seems to be serious.

Those notifications are because a spammer replied to a thread you are watching.  When the spammer is caught their posts are removed and the spammer is banned.

Sorry you got those messages, we try to catch the spammers as quickly as we can.

Yup, completely right. The link takes you to the top of the thread and shows you the new items. That you are not able to see the spam message, is a good thing. It means that the spam has been removed by one of the moderators ;).

Just another example of the level of service we receive as members on the FREE Joomla.org community forum.
