Joomlacode forum notifications have stopped

I've just realised that for some reason I have stopped getting Joomlacode forum messages by email (about 10 days ago from what I can make out).
Is this a system change that I missed or could there be a problem? My ISP doesn't block spam (just marks it as spam) so I don't think the problem is there.

Try clicking the "Notify" button to disable email notifications for that forum, then click it again to reenable them. Does that help?
Edit: My comment pertains to the Joomla! forums and not the JoomlaCode forum, therefore my suggestion means nothing to this issue.

Same problem with the bug tracker notification, I haven't gotten any for a couple of weeks. I've tried turning off & on again, no change.

Well it seems to have made no difference - still no emails.

Mmm, have to take a look on te server and check out how the mail functionality is working. Sad part that it is working half, I have received multiple emails in the last day from forum posts. Most of the time, thing that work half are the hardest to fix.

Not sure if its relevant but me email address is on a subdomain of my ISP i.e.
[email protected] . Some services seem to choke on this.
Unless something changed at joomlacode this shouldn't be relevant since I used to get the notifications fine.
Thanks

Same problem here. All notifications (forums and trackers) have stopped working. Turning off and on monitoring doesn't help...
Let's hope the admins have luck getting this functionality up again.

Ok, can see in the logs that Soeren en Geraint received their last email on june 14, and mjaz on june 11. Mail is still being sent out though. No to find out why no mail is being sent any more.

There's a cron job running, which should process the table in Joomlacode that has forum notifications in it (notification_queue). It somehow isn't emptied with the cron job.

Thanks for the good work so far. I hope you find a solution.
I long since gave up on notifications from the Joomla SMF forum and unfortunately my participation in these forums plummeted as a result.

The notifications queue is empty, and could find 'mjaz' in the maillog with sent emails. Should indeed be ok now.

Just a small note:
The text in all the notification emails comes with a date like "1970-01-01 07:59:59".
Excerpt:
"Thread xxxxxxxx had a new message posted at 1970-01-01 07:59:59
You can respond by visiting: "
I think that the server time is somehow wrong...?

Last time I checked, the dates were correct on the server. Might be different now, will check when I get home. Looks a problem with UNIX time stamps.

Hi Tonie
I suspect the problem may have returned - I've not had any notifications for 36 hours or so and having checked the forums/tracker manually I know there are postings I've not received.
Thanks again
Geraint

You are right, the process was locked again. Shortly, some more RAM will be added to the server. This will hopefully make it better suitable to deal with the big spikes in resource usage.
