Went to main project page to search for some extensions...

Configuration error: Host name (forge.joomla.org) differs from system configuration (joomlacode.org)

Noticed this a couple times in past few days...  Sorry I didnt post this sooner, just thought it might have been a glitch.

You have to use Joomlacode, and not forge any more for extensions. There was a migration earlier this year.

ah ok thanks.  Although that might be a good thing to fix on forge site - the "projects" menu link to reflect that.  Kinda confusing for us n00bs

What do you mean, is there a reference to the old Forge somewhere?

I came upon the old forge site searching through forums for help.  I can't remember what all forums they were in exactly - might have even been on Joomlapolis or another 3rd party - but I do remember various links on the Joomla.org sites to project downloads that reference the Forge site.  From there, I clicked on the Projects link to search for something, and I got the error.  But - this has been over the period of a few weeks, and when I tried to go back to a forge project that was still in my cache - jevents - I got a 404.  So I tried going to forge.joomla.org - which is still live and not being redirected, and there is nothing that really "says" don't use this site, it just says "What is JoomlaCode.org?JoomlaCode.org is a resource for developers to build and manage Open Source software..."  - the same thing that is on the JoomlaCode.org - which makes it appear to be a mirror.  The code tab in the top tabs does go to JoomlaCode.org, but the submenu - MyStuff, Users, Projects, Snippets - all stay within forge subdomain, causing an error.
