Project UHEvents: migration to JoomlaCode.org

Hello all!

After neglecting my project for quite a while due to my work load and other more important things I came back to joomla.org only to find out that my project data was not accessible on JoomlaCode.org.

My project (UHEvents) can be found (http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/uhevents/) prefixed with the word 'Migration.', but all I get is a page telling "Permission Denied". I guess I probably missed some information on changing the sites structure and the related migration of projects..

SVN access seemed to work fine (I tried 'svn status') some days ago, but my user account (same as here in the forum) and related things were gone. So far I created a new user acount with the old user name which of cause did not help much.

- How can I get my projects data (svn, wiki, forums, ...) back and related to my user name?
- SVN setup: Can I still use the setup on my computer like 'in the old days' prior to the site structure change?

I would appreciate any answer as I have new ideas to improve the component. And then there is still the switch to Joomla! v1.5 to be done,... .

Regards, Uwe.

Hi, I set your new account as project admin of the project, so you can administer it now. I also sent you a PM with instructions to get it up and running quickly again.

Thanks a lot for the quick response!  Due to your PM I managed to start working w/ JC quickly.

Today I found some time to "play" a bit more with my project. But only to find out that my project on JC consists out of nothing more than the project description which I managed to change, and the old trackers which were extended by new tracker categories. :o

Can you tell me when I can access/administer the SVN and Wiki pages again? Or is the data gone??? What else can I do?

Regards, Uwe.

Hello Antonie,

from another thread I got the information that wiki data cannot be imported.  :( Is there a way to send me the part of the wiki backup which contains  the records for my project wiki so I could do some kind of cut 'n paste to get the wiki back?

Is there a way for the project admin to backup the wiki data or will there be a way to do this in the future???

Regards, Uwe.

BTW: I cannot send PM's. Is this the policy of the forum which forbids this or simply a 'feature'  ;)?

I will ask Matt if he can deliver in human readable format.

Unfortunately, we had people abusing the PM system with spam. That's the reason you can only send PM's after having five posts on the forum.

This would be great! I do not know how the backup was done, but already batch of SQL-INSERTs would me help much with my task to get the documentation of the project up again.

Understood.
