1.5 demo not accessible and demo overview page

- The 1.5 demo isn't accessible at the moment (it would be good to have it working especially right now since there are probably more people who want to try the demo after the RC1 announcement).
- Also, it still states "Joomla! 1.5 beta 2" on the demo overview page and
- this page's design (http://demo.joomla.org/) isn't really that nice, is it?

If you give us a few days to get over the RC 1 release etc, we should be able to get to this soon.

Yeah when can we expect to see a live, working demo fo 1.5 RC1? I really want to try this out, but if I don't get anything soon then I'll have to install it in a sub-domain folder on my server.

I've just been tagged with updating the demo sites. My goal is to have both the 1.0.x and 1.5 demos updated by the end of the week.

To resurrect this thread again...
Would it be possible to set up the demo page again?
Registering/access to the backend does not absolutely have to be enabled - a simple default installation would be great already.
It helps a lot to get a first impression - a missing demo page on the other hand isn't that great...
Quite a nice additional feature would be to have a template switcher or a separate page with the JA Purity template enabled (too nice to be hidden
)

Small note: would it be possible to show the alternative template somehow? (template switcher, link, ...)
