Updated Extensions Showing Up In New Extensions

Is "Recently Updated Extensions" supposed to show up in the "New Extensions" section? I thought new meant Brand New.

You have 2 different categories under the main menu
New Extension (= brand new extensions)
Recently Updated (= both new extensions and extensions that aren't new but have been updated in someway)
