This is a community site developed by me in about 15 - 20 hours including all the content prep.
I'm really looking for advice on the best community collaboration tools to help our local residents campaign against a large multinational Medical company Unomedical, who we have just discovered has been pumping the carcinogenic chemical ethylene oxide in large amounts over surrounding houses and businesses for the past 10 - 20 years.
We are all busy mums and dads and need good collaboration and activism tools with security because we don't want the company to spy on our strategies. Older people in the area too, but also a high school.
We may need;
Forum - is new standard Joomla one Firebird? anygood?
Blog - whats easy?
Automated Letter writing component Ie Click her to a prefilled out email letter which can be changed, which then sends to a specified email address ie politician.
Somekind of open to the public post your thoughts/outrage feature, which we can edit abuse/spam from.
Any funky mapping component to help people zero in on the site and surrounds.
Whatever else you think might be useful.
Im also a web developer (projman no coding
), but pretty new to Joomla.
