Suggestion to JED - create a sub forum

Joomla! Extensions Directory Forum should be divided in two sub forums:

1- Questions about specific extensions ("were can I find an extension to..." ; "where can I download this extension").
It would be kind of a popular forum, aimed to end users. It will provide users with services!

2- Questions about JED directory (suggestions to JED, discussions about JED listings, "why my review isn't published").
It would be like a technical forum, aimed to developers and collaborators, looking to improve the JED directory.
It will provide JED mods with feedback and also a place to improve usage of JED listings.

Hi horus_68,

This forum is precisely = '2'

For questions about specific extensions we already have 3 specific forum categories at
3rd Party Extensions / Components
3rd Party Extensions / Modules
3rd Party Extensions / Plugins/Mambots
Just like described in the sticky above  ;)

I know about those forums, but they are more used by end users-end users (about questions on "How to configure, problems, usage"). They are not a place to look for a suggestion on an extension (you don't even know if it is a module, a plugin, or component)
If you look at the posts here, people used this forum also to ask questions on "1" (end users-JED mod)

So the "3rd Party Extensions" should have a generic section, to deal with questions stated in "1" .. and then move a lot of posts from this forum!

Yes, I agree that a such forum would be very popular.

But the big question is if the members would get any answers in a such forum? Many of the questions are of the type that the members can take a look for themselves in the extensions directory.
