I am in the process of creating a World Class website using joomla 1.5 series. Therefore I lounge frequently at the extensions section of Joomla.org.

But while searching, it is hard to know whether a Extension is Joomla 1.x or 1.5.x compatible. To know it I presently have to click the "details" link in each of the products.

So, kindly add a feature to show in the Extensions listing section, whether it is 1.x or 1.5.x compatible. I hope I conveyed my concern properly.

Let's see how active my Joomla webmaster is. I might hire him if he is good        .

I second this. Perhaps a small logo that would sit along with the Component, Module, Plugin icons on the right hand side of the  category listings.

This feature will be added in the next update to the Extensions Directory.

Thanks to the friendly guys for replying to my query. I am delighted to see that my request is indeed going to be included as a Joomla feature.

Take this as my contribution to the OSS community :-).

Even better would be to allow us to search based on version number from within a detail page or what will be the new listing page in the next release. I keep wanting to click on the 1.5 icons I see next to modules thinking it should be a sort filter.

I keep going to click on that too thinking the same thing!
