My New Plugin Needs Review

Hello there,

After reading the tutorials about plugins in 1.5, I tried to create my first, very own plugin.

I'm not sure everything is correct about it and your comments will be very helpful for me.

Plugin is named 'JooTube' and it basically replaces {youtube} like code to embedded videos.

Also note that English is not my primary language and please remind me the needed corrections. ;)

The plugin is attached. Thanks.

Ercan.

I downloaded and tested briefly. Looks quite good. Good documentation and easy to use. Good job! :)

I also took a look at it and learned a great deal studying how you did it.

I like how there are two options - the simple mode will be very easy for people to use to embed a YouTube video. The Advanced model will allow much more control over the size and start play, etc. Those are helpful, easy to use options.

Worked perfectly for me both ways! Thanks for sharing,
Amy :)

Matt, Amy

Thanks for all your kind words. Please let me know if you have something to add or change. :)

Let's leave the attachment here for 1-2 more days. Because I have some problems. First of all, the plugin title is: Content-Jootube. There is no space between the words. I couldn't understand that. And after installing the plugin, the description is shown as JT_DESCRIPTION. The language file is not parsed yet at this time, I think. Is it the correct behavior?
