I would like to put a google search box on top of my site, on the right side of my logo. What do I have to do to achieve this?

Also, another question: how to put something on the front page, that is not a menu and not an article? (I wanted to put some google product referrals and other scripts)

There are lots of extensions in the Extension directory. Try clicking on the link at the top of teh page and searching for Google.
