joomla content and menu to xml for flash??

Hi there,
is there a easy way to export the data of the standard components and modules to a standardized XML format? (instead of html output) maybe there is somekind of core function to export "everything" into xml??
i know this sounds like a stupid question, but it is a lot of work to make something that exports xml for example menu items or normal content so that you can import it into flash.
i'd hope that anyone has some information about this for me. thanks
