I've read some place and I'm unsure if this is the correct place to ask this question.
To me this is a complicated question and perhaps to some of you this may be an easy
answer.

I'm _trying_ to create a search database using Joomla!  (I know this would be much
more simpler if I knew PHP and could create just a simple search page using that) eh
but I do not know PHP and use Joomla for it's ease of use.

I've tried some "Directory" extensions but they aren't very editable for the needs I
am looking for.  I'm hoping someone might know some other extensions that would
fit the bill more precisely.

Here is the premise of what I am trying to create:

A searchable database of web hosts - where users can come to the site - search for
particular hosts (size, language,traffic allowances, ads or not etc) and also reviews of
the hosts.
