Hello!

I'm looking for a freelancer to help me create a non-profitable music portal. The thing is that I want to upgrade my existing site to joomla - it's opensource and functionality. I've got idea, message board, gallery and two 1st level domains with php and mysql - one for testing, another for the portal itself. The problem is, I lack knowledge in php and don't understand all the coding, structure. Therefore I'm looking for more or less expert person, with enough of spare time and interest, to help me with this, which would me mentioned on the site as a programmer.

Basically, I need someone to give freshly installed Joomla a certain look and create certain sections/menu items, other things I can probably handle myself. Like merging joomla with the board, gallery etc.

Not sure if you found someone, I have done a lot of Joomla stuff over the past few years, and produced a Joomla music site of my own:

I have done a lot of adapting and tweaking of all kinds of Joomla/Mambo components, sometimes alone, sometimes with original authors of the software and have a knowledgebase of these which could be useful in your project.

I work in the UK and have reasonable rates for charities/voluntary organisations, and also do work for commercial businesses.
